Thank you to Ayo Dee Richardson and Kelvin Fomba for collaborating on this post!
On December 19, 2025, the Uniting Distant Stars Academy / Vocational Institute (UDS) successfully held its Christmas Party and Closing Program with the active participation of both staff and students. The program marked the official closure of academic activities for the Christmas and New Year Break.

The event was organized in a joyful and peaceful atmosphere, reflecting the spirit of love, unity, and appreciation that characterizes the Christmas season. As part of the celebration, the UDS Administration demonstrated its commitment to staff welfare by distributing 25kg bags of rice to staff members (one bag shared by two staff members). Additionally, staff received their stipends for the holiday break and UDS-branded T-shirts as a token of appreciation for their dedication and hard work throughout the year.
Furthermore, all classes across the institution organized their individual Christmas parties within their respective classrooms. These celebrations were held in collaboration with their class sponsors, creating a fun-filled and memorable experience for students. The activities helped promote teamwork, friendship, and a sense of belonging among learners.
In conclusion, the Christmas Party and Closing Program were a great success, strengthening the bond between staff, students, and the administration. The institution officially adjourned for the Christmas and New Year Break in a spirit of happiness, gratitude, and unity.
