Kelvin Fomba –


Kelvin serves as Liberia’s co-founder and country director of Uniting Distant Stars. He is native-born Liberia from Foya, Lofa County. While he has spent most of his life in Liberia, he has lived in Sierra Leone and Guinea. He is a self-taught master auto mechanic working with all-types of machinery. He has several years of experience as a professional commercial truck driver. Kelvin also holds other trades like auto electrician, brazing, and welding. Prior to opening the UDS vocational training center, he has taught young me and women in auto mechanics and drivers education with other institutions or on-the-job training. He is the current UDS Instructor for Auto Mechanics and Computers. He plans to graduate in 2022 with a degree in geology at University of Liberia. Kelvin’s passion to educate and train youth has been vital to our continued success.
