I have a passion for UDS’ Mission because I believe that providing skilled trade training as an option for young people in Liberia is critical to their becoming productive adults, as well as contributors to the success of their families, communities and country. What I bring to the UDS’ team is my ability to think strategically and generate creative ideas to solve problems and get things done. I have over twenty years of experience working in the nonprofit field in various business communication roles including development, marketing, program evaluation, education, outreach, and others. I am a published author of “African Women Connect. How I created and grew a networking group of African immigrant women for friendship, business, and community.” I am passionate about community and involved in several initiatives. I am originally from Liberia, West Africa, and currently live in the Minnesota Twin Cities area with my husband and children.
