Nobel Peace Prize Forum

Uniting Distant Stars is excited to virtually participate in our fourth consecutive Nobel Peace Prize Forum on Friday, September 15 at Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minnesota.. We are grateful to youthrive for including us in this thought-provoking event that allows are youth connect with people outside of Liberia. This year our youth will be joining the live stream with  people around the world of this year’s forum plenary featuring the Tunisian National Dialogue Quartet, who helped move their nation to democracy after the long-time dictator was overthrown 2011. Our youth and their peers in Minnesota will move to the youth forum to participate in small group dialogs. The purpose of this activity is to have youth demonstrate how people can have opposing view but can work together to find common ground on issues that matter to them such as education and social justice.
