Another new development in 2015 was the opening of our learning center on October 15. This became the place students could come to after school to do homework or attend a group study class.

We started with 35 students dropping in after school, but through word of mouth, those numbers began to increase.

One of the highlights of our little center was the library. Through generous book donations from US supporters, we had various books for the students to select from.

As you can see, a book puts a smile on a child’s face. Something we can take for granted in the U.S.

We had many volunteers help with the study classes and overseeing the learning center. When we move into April to cover 2016, you will see how it evolved into our vocational training program.
